THE COMPANY
Our company has been formed out of necessity and demand of the photo market in the United States. New options are available with service and maintenance to all former AGFA machines with Minilabfactory USA. Choices and price competitiveness are our number one priority in helping the many people in the photo industry in the USA. Our President, Werner von Stein II, has an industry wide excellent reputation for exceptional service in photo and is the leader needed to give options in the US photo service market.
Werner von Stein II, the President of Minilab Factory USA (seen above, center photo), is a native German from Hamburg and is fluent in German and English. He is an expert in the field of servicing commercial film and digital photo equipment. His career began at the tender age of 7, when his father, Werner Sr., gave him his first dark room. Werner Sr., (seen above photo, far left), is one of the founders of CEWE Color AG in Germany (www.cewecolor.de). Obviously, the photo business is in his blood. Werner II started working for AGFA in 1987, which brought him from Germany via England to the United States. During most of Werner II's career, he was based on the West Coast and traveled throughout the US on behalf of AGFA. While working mostly overseas in the US, he still maintained a very close relationship with AGFA headquarters in Munich where he received all of his specialized training in photo. Many people in the US photo industry are very familiar with Werner, as he has personally serviced their production sites. He held many positions within AGFA ranging from Field Service Engineer, Senior Field Engineer, to being the West Coast Service Manager. However, after AGFA Photo USA became insolvent in 2005, Werner II realized he needed to help his long time customers. He has built his organization in the United States to service all of his friends and colleagues in the photo industry.
